Hannah & Brennan Wedding Highlight Video at The Santaluz Club

Oh my oh my! What can I say! I got all teared up watching Hannah & Brennan’s Wedding Highlight video.  It was such a beautiful wedding for an adorable couple.  I love watching videos after the wedding, it really just brings you back to that day.  I had an amazing time getting to know Hannah and planning the wedding with her and her mom.  Her mom worked so hard on all the details, and it really paid off as you can see.  I wish Hannah & Brennan a lifetime of love & happiness! xoxo, wynn

David & Stephanie’s The Grand Del Mar Wedding Video from Amari Productions

It seems just like yesterday that David & Stephanie was married at The Grand Del Mar. I absolutely loved this video that Amari Productions made.  It brought back so much emotions, and I just love hearing their vows.  Videography is one of the areas that I feel is the most under appreciated area of wedding planning.  Once in a while I’ll get a couple where they say that video is one of their top priorities but more often then not, it’s usually the last on the list.  I always recommend getting video for your wedding.  Photography is extremely important but only video can bring back the sounds, the expressions in that moment in time.  You may not look at it as often or share it as much as photos, but once in a while when you look back on it,  you’ll get to relive that moment even just for a few minutes.

Congrats again to David & Stephanie and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Enjoy the video!

Behind the Scenes of Downtown San Diego Wedding by Wynn Austin Fine Weddings & Events

Hi Everyone,

I am beyond thrilled to share this timelapse video with you! The video was created by my wonderful friend Gene Higa of Gene Higa Photography.  When Gene and I were brainstorming, I told him I had a wedding that was pretty unique in regards to the flow of the guests.  My couple Joe & Darleen was married at The University Club Atop Symphony Towers and I came up with the idea of having the ceremony and the dinner reception in the same ballroom.  The dancing was actually in the lounge.  Gene thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do a timelapse video so the people can catch a glimpse of what goes on at a wedding before everyone arrives.  It also has some pretty fun footage of my team and I running around, straightening the chairs, tying the bow to block the aisle, and setting down the aisle runner (the girls did an awesome job, that aisle was 55 feet long, and straight as a board)  I know so many people are always so curious what happens behind the scenes, or they want to know, “what does a wedding planner do?” I hope this gives you a little bit of a glimpse inside my world.   I had so much fun at this wedding and it was pretty exciting for me to get to relive it again today.

I hope you enjoy it!

XOXO,

Wynn

Video Highlight Blake & Josh {Seagrove Park Ceremony & Reception at La Jolla Woman’s Club}

I love videos! Having a videographer for your wedding should be looked at differently than photography.  I would never recommend to a client to get a videographer instead of a photographer.  They are two completely different services and they serve a different purpose.  Even as a wedding planner, when I see the videos of my client’s weddings, it just moves me and brings me back to their wedding day.  Can you imagine how the couple would feel?  I love this video highlight of Blake & Josh’s destination wedding to Del Mar & La Jolla by Everlasting Video! I love how you can hear their voices, see the moving ocean at Seagrove Park (one of my favorite spots in San Diego) and just witness the emotion.

Thank you Tuan & Tina of Everlasting Video for the highlight!

XoXo,

Wynn

Hi Everyone,

I was asked to be interviewed by NBC in anticipation for The Royal Wedding. It was such a fun experience and a little nerve racking to say the least! However, the table turned out beautifully and it was thanks to a team of amazing vendors for helping me out with this. I am forever so grateful for their continued support and amazing work!
