I was so excited when Truc asked me to style her engagement shoot! She is so sweet and gorgeous so I knew we were going to have so much fun! She loves the soft romantic look so I decided to mimic the theme of her wedding which is Cherry Blossom inspired! We are so fortunate in San Diego, to have so many amazing places to take pictures. So the first place I picked for Truc & Chris was Balboa Park, but specifically the Japanese Friendship Garden. With some props and signs from my private collection and custom made monograms ( Made by me =) ) The pictures turned out absolutely adorable! Right after, we headed over to the new hottest restaurant in Del Mar, Burlap by Brian Malarkey! I came up with the idea because I just love the eccentric decor with that Asian flair!
The beautiful pictures were captured by my dear friends Gene Higa Photography & Braja Mandala of Mandala Weddings! All 5 of us had a blast, and in my world there is no such thing as all work & no play. So after, the pictures were done, we all dined there and enjoyed some fun drinks!

I love how the letters stand out in this bed of cherry blossoms! They were already like that on the grass, we didn’t set it up.
Their wedding date is awesome. It’s August 8, 2012 so it just so happens to be 8+4=12
They ended up using this picture for their Save The Dates!
Us girls enjoying ourselves!
